Our senior solicitor, Wissam Philopos, represented a man in a licence appeal to save his licence from suspension. The matter was heard at Parramatta Local Court.
Charge:
Our client sought help one day before the court date. Mr Philopos acted quickly and prepared submissions within that short timeframe. The court considered our client’s age, good character and need for a licence to assist the family business. The client also needed a licence to commence formal education, with regular travel required each week.
Result:
The court accepted Mr Philopos’ submissions and our client’s personal circumstances, and declared that his licence would not be suspended by Transport for NSW.
This outcome was achieved through hard work and careful preparation on very short notice. Strong evidence and targeted submissions supported the appeal.
