Conchita was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014. She has been practising in the areas of Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates and Criminal Law and has developed a keen interest in the complexities of Criminal Law. Her career in the legal profession was inspired by fictional characters like Atticus Finch of To Kill A Mockingbird and real-life characters like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela, all of whom pursued justice at the core of their movements. When she is not lawyering by day, she is teaching dance by night and is a classically trained dancer in the Indian dance form of Kathak. She enjoys baking, feeding others with said baking and making things grow in her garden.
