Sali Romie is a Solicitor at Jameson Law with 15 years of dedicated experience in Personal Injury law. She commenced her legal career as a Legal Secretary while completing her university studies gaining practical, hands-on experience from the very beginning of her professional journey. Through commitment, technical capability and leadership, she progressed to the role of Practice Manager within Personal Injury firms, developing extensive experience in litigation, client management and firm operations.

Over the course of her 15-year career in Personal Injury, Sali acquired substantial expertise in managing complex and sensitive matters, working closely with clients through highly challenging circumstances and developing strong advocacy and strategic case preparation skills.

Immigration Law Leadership

Sali now leads the firm’s Immigration Law Department and has carriage of complex migration matters. Drawing on her extensive litigation background, she is particularly recognised for her work in difficult and high-risk cases including visa refusals, cancellations on character grounds, unlawful stay, and other legally intricate matters. She has developed strong technical knowledge of migration legislation and policy and is highly skilled in preparing detailed statutory declarations, legal submissions and evidentiary material in support of complex applications.

She manages visa applications across a broad range of subclasses and represents clients from initial lodgement through to merits review proceedings before the Administrative Review Tribunal, as well as litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Her approach is strategic, thorough and solutions-driven, ensuring clients receive clear advice and robust representation at every stage.
